Test Suite prologue

Prepare configuration.

  • Try to enable IPv6 support.

  • Allocate and assign IPv6 addresses to be used by tests.

Remove empty networks from configuration.

  1. Reserve all resources specified in network configuration.

  2. Load (or reload) required kernel modules.

  3. Bind net drivers to IUT and TST explicitly, because we can't rely on the driver to do this automatically.

  4. Update network configuration to use interfaces instead of PCI functions.

  5. Bring all used interfaces up.

  6. Delete previously assigned IPv4 addresses.

  7. Allocate and assign IPv4 addresses to be used by tests.

  8. Prepare IPv6 configuration.

  9. Ensure that FW LLDP is disabled if applicable.

  10. Dump configuration to logs.

  11. Bring all used interfaces PHY setup.

  12. Collect and log TRC tags.
