Test dpdk-testpmd performance in Tx only mode

1. Adjust testpmd parameters

2. Configure flow control

3. Create testpmd jobs

4. Start the jobs

5. If dbells_supp :

   • Attach doorbells filters

6. If tso_requested :

   • Attach Rx packets/bytes filters

7. Start peer and reporting testpmd jobs

8. Retrieve link speed from reporting testpmd

9. Initialize TST Rx and IUT Tx statistics

10. Retrieve Rx stats from running testpmd

11. Retrieve Tx stats from running testpmd

12. If tso_requested :

    • Check TSO correctness in the sense of packets size

13. Check and log measurement results

Parameters:

testpmd_command_txpkts	Comma-separated list of segment lengths of transmitted packets, set by testpmd command set txpkts
n_fwd_cores	Number of CPU cores for testpmd on IUT
testpmd_arg_txq	Number of Tx queues per port on IUT (testpmd option --txq); the number of Rx queues is set equal to it
testpmd_arg_txonly_tso_mss	TSO MSS of packets transmitted in txonly mode (testpmd option --txonly-tso-mss); if specified, TSO Tx offload is enabled
flow_control	Whether to use flow control
testpmd_arg_forward_mode	Forwarding mode of testpmd on IUT (testpmd option --forward-mode)
testpmd_arg_stats_period	Period in seconds of testpmd statistics display (testpmd option --stats-period)
testpmd_arg_no_lsc_interrupt	Whether to disable link status change interrupt (testpmd option --no-lsc-interrupt)
testpmd_arg_txd	Number of Tx ring descriptors (testpmd option --txd)
testpmd_arg_burst	Number of packets per burst (testpmd option --burst)
testpmd_arg_txfreet	Free threshold of Tx rings, 0 means driver default (testpmd option --txfreet)
